Area rugs are a great way to add color, pattern and
style to any room. If you want to place an area rug on top of a carpet the top
area rug has a tendency to move around a bit. To remedy this, purchase a
rug-to-rug pad, which is sticky on both sides with a dry adhesive that won't
transfer to either the rug or the carpeting.
Steps:
1. Place the area rug in the desired location, and then roll it back out of
the way.
2. Peel away the paper backing on bottom of the pad, and position it on the
carpeting. Then remove the top paper, and roll the area rug back into place.
